Description

Contra-indications

Do not take Generic Cafergot if you are allergic to Generic Cafergot components.

Do not take Generic Cafergot if you're pregnant or you plan to have a baby, or you are a nursing mother.

Do not take Generic Cafergot if you have blood vessel problems (e.g., peripheral vascular disease), coronary heart disease, high blood pressure, liver or kidney problems, or severe infection (e.g., sepsis).

Do not take Generic Cafergot if you are taking an azole antifungal (itraconazole, ketoconazole, voriconazole), delavirdine, HIV protease inhibitors (delavirdine, indinavir, nelfinavir, ritonavir), efavirenz, a ketolide antibiotic (telithromycin), a macrolide antibiotic (clarithromycin, erythromycin), or selective 5-HT agonists (sumatriptan, eletriptan).

Do not exceed the recommended dose or take Generic Cafergot for longer than prescribed without checking with your health care provider. Generic Cafergot is not for long-term daily use.

Do not take Generic Cafergot for any other kind of headaches. Generic Cafergot is not effective in treating other types of headaches.
